Description: Artist: SYMEON SHIMIN (1902-1984) Size: 30 1/8 x 46 in./76.6 x 116.8 cm After serving as the Vice President under Franklin Roosevelt, Henry Wallace left the Democratic Party to run under the newly-formed Progressive Party banner against Truman and Dewey. This poster was printed during that election cycle, emphasizing Wallace's opposition to the racism against African Americans which he believed was holding back the country from true progress.
