Description: oil on oak panel

Condition Report: The panel is uncradled and flat. The paint surface is slightly dirty and the varnish is slightly discoloured. There is a small retouched loss in the centre, just above the pinnacle of the spire, and two losses, lower right, approx. 0.5 x 1 cm. - all visible in the catalogue illustration. There is also a superficial diagonal surface scratch in the sky, upper right. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a milky varnish, beneath which it is difficult to discern intervention - it appears that some of the cloud forms may have been strengthened slightly, but the painting is otherwise untouched. In overall good condition.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
