Author: John Comly - John Comly (1773-1850) was a Quaker schoolmaster. In 1803 he married Rebeca Budd, a fellow teacher at Westtown School, a Quaker boarding schooling. They ran their own school, Pleasant Hill Boarding School from 1804 to 1815, and he wrote several additional textbooks.
