Condition / Notes: This is the first edition of this work. The antique leather volume has partially-separated leather boards and stamped gilt lettering/tooling on the spine. There are raised bands on the spine. The exterior shows moderate rubbing and chipping concentrated at the edges. The text block is solid and is adorned with marbled bottom and fore edges. The title page shows engraved decoration. The pages show mild age toning and scattered light foxing, mostly in the margins.
