Condition / Notes: This volume is bound in full leather, with faded gilt lettering and decoration to the spine. The volume displays external wear, with vertical cracking to the spine edges, some scuffing to the covers and spine, and chipping to the head of the spine. The binding is cracked at the hinges, and the text block is toned. Creasing and foxing are visible to the endpapers, with moisture markings and remnants of an attachment also appearing on the rear endpaper. A library blind stamp and two small ink notations are present to the verso of the title page and the dedication page. Scattered foxing continues through the interior, page 115 displays a chip in the fore edge, and a second library blind stamp appears on page 100. A frontispiece view of Quebec is present, with some toning. This volume contains an appendix.
