Description: Ordensdekoration der 3. Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration am Dreiecksband im Verleihungsetui der Firma Rothe. In Gold ("3A" Gemskopf-Punze) gefertigte Dekoration mit kleineren Emaillefehlstellen des RV-Medaillons. Das goldbedruckte Etui von "1901". Möglicherweise vom Sohn, Oberstleutnant Albert getragen. Versilbertes Tablett mit den Initialen Pápays (15,5x19,5 cm), Unterschriftenwedel und Portrait-Fotografie. Einladung zur Hoftafel (mittig gerissen) und ausführlicher Zeitungsbericht "Stefan v. Pápay" von 1897 über Leben und Wirken des Staatsdieners. Zwei lederne Dokumenten-Mappen ("Erledigt", "Unerledigt"), eine rotlederne Geldbörse "Constantinople 1777" Grünlederne Dokumentenmappe des "HOFLIEFERANTEN GEBR. RODECK" mit echt silberner (Amtspunziert) floraler Schließe des Herstellers "A.W." und schwarze Leder-Brieftasche "Wien 9. Februar 1888 Unser aller Glückstag" mit emailliertem bekröntem Monogramm Kaiser Franz Joseph I. Großformatige Aufnahme "ARBEITSZIMMER SR. MAJESTÄT" des Wiener Hoffotografen "Stillfried" mit dem handschriftlichen Vermerk "Hier referierte Papa". Schwarz lackierte, goldverzierte Gusseiserne Siegelpresse und Marmor-Briefbeschwerer. 1827 in Pressburg geboren, war Pápry mit 20 Jahren Notar, 1851 Sekretär des Grafen Forgách und wurde 1863 in die Wiener Hofkanzlei berufen, wo er 1887 zum wirklichen Sektionschef avancierte und einer der wichtigen Berater Kaiser Franz Josef I. war. Dieser bemühte sich sehr um seinen Sekretär als diese 1888 erkrankte. Stefan von Pápay ist am 6. Januar 1897 in Wien verstorben. Er war Träger des Komturkreuzes des Ungarischen St. Stephans-Ordens und der 1. Klasse des Ordens der Eisernen Krone. In Budapest ist eine Straße nach ihm benannt. Beiliegend Farbkopie des Wappens und kopierter Schriftverkehr bezüglich Schenkung von Erinnerungsstücken des Kaisers von Pápay durch den Sohn in den 30er Jahren an das Ungarische Museum und die Abschrift des Kaiserlichen Briefes 1888 an den erkrankten Sekretär.
