Pagine XIV, [6], 520; [4], 507, [1]; [4], 385, [11]; [4], 290, 77, [11] con antiporta incisa in rame e 7 tavole di cui alcune ripiegate. Bruniture diffuse ma buon esemplare. Legatura moderna in mezza pella blu, titoli e fregi in oro ai dorsi. Ai contropiatti ex libris Charles Francis Bell e 'Taylor Institution bequeathed to the University by Robert Finch, M.A. of Balliol College' con timbro 'Sold by Authority'. Prima traduzione inglese di questo scritto dell'antiquario tedesco. Lowndes, 1269: "This work, though heavy, is interesting from the picture it exhibits of Germany [...] in the middle of the 18th century. The author's judgments on antiquities have been questioned"; Cox I, 133: "The volumes deal with the natural history, manners, commerce, manufacturers, laws, antiquities"; Olschki, 374: "Sull'importanza del viaggio non sussistono dubbi". Spread browning otherwise a fair copy. Modern blue half-leather, gilt title and tools on the spines. On the pastedowns ex libris Charles Francis Bell and 'Taylor Institution bequeathed to the University by Robert Finch, M.A. of Balliol College' con timbro 'Sold by Authority'. First english translation of this work by the German Antiquaria.
