Description: Artist: HENRI DE TOULOUSE-LAUTREC (1864-1901) Size: 11 x 14 3/4 in./27.8 x 37.5 cm Grand Imprimerie Centrale, Paris Used to promote a production of Ibsen's Rosmersholm as well as Frantz Jourdain's comedy Le Gage (The Guarantee) -- both at the Théâtre de L'Oeuvre -- this print shows Count Prozor (translator of the Ibsen piece) alongside Jourdain (a well known architect, critic, and president of the Salon d'Automne) while the operetta star Jeanne Granier sits on the divan.
