Description: Artist: JULES-ALEXANDRE GRÜN (1868-1938) Size: 31 1/2 x 47 5/8 in./80 x 121 cm H. Dauvin, Paris Located near the Eiffel Tower, Magic-City was a nighttime amusement park and dance hall known for its Mardi Gras-like pageants and drag balls. Its clientele was so rowdy and eccentric that in 1934 it was closed permanently by the authorities. This is the larger format version of the poster.
