Description: Helm für Offiziere der Infanterie mit schwarzer Lederglocke (leicht krakeliert, kleine Druckstellen, Schirmoberflächen rau) und sehr schön erhaltenen vergoldeten Beschlägen wie Helmadler "FR" mit Vaterlandsbandeau (alte Doppellöcher), glatte abschraubbare Spitze, Perlring, Teller, Sternschrauben und flache Schuppenketten an Reichs- und Landeskokarde, helles blaugrünes Seidenfutter (in der Tragezeit gewechselt), Schweißleder, Größenangabe "56 1/2". Dazu der feldgraue Helmbezug mit der aufgenähten roten Regimentsnummer "132". Außerdem ein Paar Epauletten mit silbernen Kantillen und aufgelegter Regimentsnummer im Originalkarton, zwei Schulterstücke als Major, ein Schulterstück als Hauptmann und eines als Leutnant im genannten Regiment. Außerdem ein Foto des Grabes. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Einzigartiger Nachlass, direkt aus Familienbesitz. Major Carl Grundtmann war Bataillons-Kommandeur im 1. Unter-Elsässischen Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 132 und wurde laut Todesmitteilung am 3. September 1909 im Stadtverkehr "von einer Automobildroschke zermalmt". Grundtmann war der Schwiegervater von Generalleutnant Max Fremererey, dessen Hinterlassenschaft in dieser Auktion im Katalog Zeitgeschichte, Kapitel Heer, angeboten wird.
