Description: MANUEL LEÓN ASTRUC (1889-1965) CORDOBA / FERIA DE MAYO. 1935.
60 1/2x40 inches, 153 3/4x101 1/2 cm. Ortega, Valencia.
Condition A-: repaired tear in right margin into image; water staining in left margin into image. Framed.
Astruc was a painter, decorative artist and a poster designer. He taught drawing and composition at the Arts and Crafts School in Madrid. Mostly, he designed posters for various Spanish festivals including events in Seville, Pamplona, Malaga and Cordoba.
