This Maserati Ghibli Tipo AM115, which was first delivered to the USA, is in an original condition. The vehicle has a new TÜV and a H-Certification (Historic). An original Maserati certificate is also present.
The two-seater sports car Ghibli of the model Tipo AM115 of the Italian automobile manufacturer Maserati was produced between 1966 and 1973. This model together with the 2+2 seater Mexico had for the first time the new V-8 engine, which was stronger than the V-12 of the Ferrari 330. The title ‘Ghibli’ is derived from the hot desert winds of the Sahara. The body design comes from the Italian industrial designer Giorgetto Giugiaro during his time at Ghia. He himself gave it the title of his ‘most beautiful creation’. In comparison to the other competing models back at that time the already expensive Maserati Ghibli is today still a sought-after classic among collectors – until 1973 1,149 models of the 4.7 liter coupé were built.
