Condition / Notes: This is the first edition of this work. This antique volume is bound in full leather with black spine label, gilt lettering, and gilt ruling to the spine. Dentelles are present to the edges of the covers. The exterior displays moderate wear, with a roughly 1" crack at the head of the spine and light rubbing and scuffing. The binding is cracked at the front hinge. An armorial bookplate reading "Bibliotheque Schorsch" appears on the front paste-down, and the endpapers are toned. Occasional foxing is visible in the volume's interior, and toning appears around the page edges at the front and rear of the work. Offsetting is also present to the last few pages of text.
