This Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagode Cabrio has a new TÜV and a H-Certification (historic). The vehicle is in a completely restored condition. The vehicle has always been family owned. The color shade is a special color.
The two-seater 230 SL from Mercedes-Benz was presented at the Genevan motor show in 1963. It was meant to replace the smaller 190 SL and the bigger 300 SL, whilst combining them in a single model. The design is a creation of the French stylist Paul Bracg, who also created the Mercedes 600, 250 SE, the /8 series and the 300d. The car received the nickname „Pagode“ due to its inwardly curved hardtops, which could be ordered separately. The production of the 230 SL comprised 19,831 cars, before it was replaced by the 250 SL in August 1966.
