Lose in Original-Halbleinwandmappe mit Deckeltitel und 6 Bindebändchen (etwas angestaubt, leicht fleckig und berieben, vorderes Gelenk mit kleinem Riss).
Seltene erste Ausgabe des seither immer wieder neu aufgelegten Standardwerks. - A. Weber, Wolkenkodierungen, 2012, S. 171. - Der vom "Comité Météorologique International" herausgegebene Atlas mit Texten in Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch trug erheblich zur Vereinheitlichung von Termini, Klassifizierung und Methodik der Wolkenbeobachtung bei. - Besondere Beachtung fanden die teilweise als Farbphotographien aufgenommenen Wolkendarstellungen. - Textbögen unaufgeschnitten, mit handschriftlichem Besitzeintrag auf dem Innendeckel, teilweise schwach gebräunt und fleckig, die Tafeln teilweise mit kleinen Randläsuren.

First edition. - With 29 photo-chromotypes on 14 plates and 6 test-illustrations. Loose in orig. half cloth portfolio with ties (somewhat dusty, stained and rubbed, front hinge with small tear). - Minor browning resp. staining in places, plates partly with marginal fraying.
