Description:

Kissin' Cousins is a musical comedy released by MGM in March 1964 in which Elvis plays both the lead roles of Josh Morgan, the dark-haired Army officer, and his blond look-a-like cousin, Jodie Tatum. The soundtrack for Kissin' Cousins was recorded by Presley in May and September 1963, and the album was released by RCA Victor in April 1964 just after the movie's debut.

The offered acetate on MGM label is marked in blue ink, "Rehearsal/Oct 14 1963/Not Cued/78 (RPM)" on both sides. The production number of "1819" is written in ink along with the song titles and "2405-1" on the "Gold in the Mountains" side and "2412-6" on the "Pappy Won't You Please Come Home" side. In addition to the center hole in the acetate, another similar hole appears to the side. The acetate is in its original brown paper Audiodiscs sleeve with the names of the songs handwritten in pencil on the front upper left corner of the sleeve. The acetate's diameter measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) and it is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Condition Report: The acetate is in overall Excellent condition with typical wear from age on label. Handwritten notations in pencil appear in the upper left of the paper sleeve.
