Hakemeyer, Ida: Bemühungen um Frauenbildung in Göttingen 1747. - Der bedeutende Orientalist Michaelis empfiehlt in seiner Bittschrift dichtende Frauen als Dozentinnen, die ihm durch die Göttinger Dichterkrönungen oder als Ehrenmitglieder der "Deutschen Gesellschaft" bekannt geworden sind. Eine Reaktion Friedrich des Großen ist nicht bekannt geworden. - Tatsächlich promovierte Dorothea Schlözer (1770-1825), Tochter des bedeutenden Staatsrechtlers August Ludwig von Schlözer 1787 zum Dr. phil. in Göttingen. Die Initiative dazu ging von Michaelis aus, die Prüfung und anschließende Feier fand auch im Michaelishaus statt. Dies war in Deutschland die zweite Promotion einer Frau überhaupt (nach der Ärztin Dorothea Erxleben) und die erste Promotion einer Frau zum Dr. phil. - Leicht gebräunt.
