Description: Very fine Chinese Ming Dynasty high stem MeiPing porcelain vase. Stoutly potted in form of baluster shaped body, swelled on the rounded shoulder, with short neck toward flared and narrow opening, raised on tall splayed foot base. The main exterior decorated with hand painting in blue glaze of a winged dragon borne among flames, chasing the flaming pearls, over the cresting wavy LiShui water; set between bands of auspicious patterns and fine rings. The high foot depicted galloped horses among wavy LiShui water and rocky mountain. The glaze stopping above the foot rim, revealed the creme-brownish ground with dark-grayish and orange-reddish spots of firing marks. The receded central under base remain white underglaze.
