Description: Artist: JULES-ALEXANDRE GRÜN (1868-1938) Size: 34 1/8 x 47 3/4 in./86.8 x 121.2 cm Imp. Cornille & Serre, Paris After Grün settled down and got married, the tone of his posters shifted away from the buxom women of Parisian nightlife, toward more respectable subjects, such as the tourism industry. This is one of five posters he created for Monte Carlo, promoting one of the many elegant diversions available along the Riviera: a dog show. (dog)
