Description: Watercolour Affixed with label titled and inscribed by the artist's wife, verso 50 x 40.5cm (19 3/4 x 16in.) Provenance: From the collection of Roger Glover Clara Middleton and Sir Willoughby Patterne, were both characters from the 1879 book, The Egoist , by George Meredith . Roger Glover (b.1945) is a bassist, songwriter and record producer best known as the bassist for hard rock bands Deep Purple and Rainbow.
