Description: These 14 pieces of seals are composed of two portions. The first part has five white jade seals. These five white jades were made in early Qing Dynasty when Qing Dynasty was founded in 1644. At that time, the Qing Emperor used the old seals from the Ming Dynasty and ground off the original face prints and used them to make their Qing seals. That is why they seemed to be shorter. The second part has nine spinach green jade seals. These were made for Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795). Therefore, this set of 14 seals are very important in the Qing history and considered as national treasure.
Condition Report: Minor chips due to age.
