Description: This is an early antique hand turned wooden black ash dough bowl from New England circa early 1800s. This is a quality handmade bowl that was hand turned from a single piece of black ash. The antique bowl has a large grooved incised collar and has a flat resting base. The antique New England dough bowl has rich warm patina with turn lines both on the inside and outside of the bowl. The antique black ash bowl is out of round shape that signifies a hand turned wooden bowl. This bowl was heavily used from the scarring and stains on the inside of the bowl. The outside of the bowl has a large and wide bee hive shape and with a flat surface on the bottom to rest on.

Condition Report: Excellent condition with age appropriate wear and patina.

Dimensions: 17 inches wide, 5 inches high, and 52 inches round in circumference
