In 2010, a number of artists and designers, among them the German furniture designer Nils Holger Moormann, created variations of the pedal bin for a charity auction of the Michael Stich Foundation. Moormann equipped the bin with two strong rubber wheels and a long handlebar.
A sample of the original pedal pin (model 15) is held by the permanent collection of the MoMA New York (object no. 1332.2009)
The pedal bin is in very good condition with minimal traces of use. The dimensions are 97 x 46 x c. 88 cm (height x width x depth). (tm)
