Description: Persian manuscript on paper, 303 leaves plus a flyleaf, 25 lines to the page, written in nasta'liq script in black ink within 4 columns, headings in red, catchwords, margins ruled in colours and gold, 28 miniatures in gouache heightened with gold, f.1b with illuminated headpiece composed of polychrome flowers and interlacing split-palmettes, with gold strap-work borders, 5 further illuminated headpieces, brown morocco binding with lacquered central lobed cartouche
In reasonably good overall condition, binding worn, thumbed, various marginal paper repairs, smudging, stains, ink bold, as viewed.
