Description: NORMAN LINDSAY (1879-1969)
The Black Hat
aquatint etching no.38
signed and dated lower right: Norman Lindsay 1924
16 x 12.5cm

Condition Report: Work in overall good condition. Minimal foxing present (one or two spots evident in upper center). No staining, tears or holes on work. Work has faded consistantly and yellowed throughout. Work is framed in a simple slim black timber frame with a white mount (acid burn visible on the inside edges). Paper doesnt appear to be glued down to the backboard.
