ORIENTAL RUG: KESHAN 3'6" x 4'9"
Central diamond-form medallion bearing pendants and containing traditional colorful flower blossoms in rich gold, pink, dark red, ivory, medium blue, and subtle green leaves, all at the center of an empty scarlet red field. Spandrels of navy blue and ivory bear colorful blossoms and leaves to match the medallion. Ivory guard borders. Navy blue main border.
Small bits of foundation randomly showing through individual knots of pile, particularly throughout field. Approximately 4" of refringe lost at one corner. Some wear at edge. Mid-to-late 20th century.
