PAIR OF FAMILE VERTE SAUCER DISHES
decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with branches of chrysanthemum issuing from weathered rocks, arranged radially around a central medallion enclosing a further chrysanthemum flower, the base with a civilian kiln mark within a double-ring (2)
- One dish has a crack acros the full diameter as wel as further hairline rim cracks, it has been staple repaired
- The other dish has two hairline rim cracks, the longer one circa 7cm in length
- Chips and nicks to the rims, the mouth rims are metal-mounted, so that the chips/nicks are not easily noticeable
- Some signs of age and wear
