QIANLONG MARK BUT 19TH CENTURY
the baluster body painted with a procession of figures within a garden landscape including a young scholar, his wife, a monk and their attendants, the scene set between bands of flowers and upright plantain leaves, the neck applied with a pair of stylized dragon handles, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark (2)
- Good overall appearance
- There is a long hairline crack to the shoulder of one vase measuring circa 18cm in length
- Nicks around the mouth rim of the second vase and slight flaking off of the glaze to one of the two chilong handles
