Description: Artist: EUGENE BEAUDOIN (1898-1983) & MARCEL LODS (1891-1978) Size: 23 3/4 x 38 in./60.2 x 96.5 cm Imp. Jules Simon, Paris Winning first prize in a competition held by the French Ministry of Commerce for the Paris 1937 World's Fair, this poster magically combines romance and futurism in a haunting and dreamy design. Its co-creators were architects who, in addition to working together on various projects in Paris, were also in charge of the overall design for the upcoming World's Fair. As poster design was not their passion, this is the only result of their combined artistic talents. This is the medium format. (world fair)
