Description: Ca. Ø 54 mm, ca. 107.5 g, 18 K pink gold, case no. 3553, case shape 'Demi-Savonnette', repeater release by pendant, signed and numbered, very fine Breguet movement with ruby cylinder, temperature compensation, repeating hours and quarters, jumping hours, silver dial signed on back, blued Breguet steel hands, in working order, rarity, with old sellers box and probably original gold key. According to the extract of the archive this watch was sold in 1798 to Monsieur de Pontalba for 1200 Francs and serviced in 1821 by Breguet's workshop. A comparable pwatch but without jumping hours was sold in the 92nd Dr. Crott's auction for 49,600 . Another watch with this movement was sold in Geneva auction for more than 100,000 SwissFrancs.
