Full vellum, armorial stamp on both boards, spine with raised bands, decorative stamps & handwritten title. Wear along joints, light page foxing. Overall a very fine copy. The excerpts include selections from Polybius, Diodorus Siculus, Nicolas Damascene, Dionysius Halicarnassus, Appianus, and John of Antioch, collected together at the behest of emperor Constantine Porphyrogenitus.
