Description: PORCELAIN ELEPHANT FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, elephant in natural tan with brown shading, naturalistic facial features, some gilt decoration highlights, standing position with a blanket in pastel shades, supported by an ovoid-form platform with scalloped base, underside impressed "1014 / 2", and stamped in purple with "S" in a wreath, opaque white ribbed patterned umbrella-form shade, period collar. Fitted with a period Nutmeg burner, colorless chimney.

Condition Report: Undamaged lamp and setup, shade holder too large and ill-fitting.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 10" H to top of shade, 6" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" base.
