This perfect replica of the successful model 934 was, just like the original model, built on the vehicle identification number of the 76 3-liter Porsche Turbo. Such reproductions came to be due to the small number of the 934 coupés and are in their specifications equivalent to the standard – that is why the 4-stage gear was used.
The German street permit is very unusual for this classic race car; it is owed to the custom-made street-legal exhaust system. Additionally, the car has a FIA HTP and can participate in international historic race events.
The Porsche 934 (Porsche Turbo RSR) was produced as GT race car on basis of a Porsche 930 in 1976 and 1977 in only ca. 30 exemplars. Until 1986 private race teams used the car, remodeled according to group 4 FIA regulations, in the World Sportscar Championship, the first division of the German Racing Championship and the GT series organized by the Northern American IMSA. The 935 group 5, named 935 came after. From 1976 to 1982 the Porsche 934 also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Nurnburg ring and other long distance events.
