PORTFOLIO GROUP OF ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED DESIGNS, AMERICAN (EARLY 20TH CENTURY).
A large collection of loose drawings and hand-painted designs. One portfolio set (13 items) depicting designs for clocks, medals and jewelry on mat board, largest outer dimension measuring 7.25"h. 5.25"w. - includes a design for the Boston Chamber of Commerce, 1915. The second portfolio group (over 40 items) is a mixed set of designs likely for a pottery company such as Grueby Faience Company or Newcomb College Pottery along with several figure sketches, one signed "Helen Tweed" and dated 1900 and others bearing initials M. H. B - sheets measuring 11"h. 17.5"w.
