Description: The vase delicately potted with a banded mouth rim rising from tall cylindrical neck and a short straight foot, with angled shoulder. The bulbous main body finely decorated with two eight lobed floriform petal cartouche enclosing a famille rose hand painting of medallions enclosing a live scene of scholars with their attendance within garden landscape, all surrounded by cranes and ruyi clouds reserved on a ruby under glazed ground. Set between interlocking ruyi border under the rim and foot, beneath the pale-blue key fret pattern on the rim. The vase beautifully presented upon a carved hardwood stand.
Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
