(1899-1955) Size: 31 1/2 x 43 1/2 in./80 x 110.6 cm Kotting, Amsterdam "Where are you going?" announces this forcefully dramatic promotion for this sword-&-sandals epic. Over the course of 23 years, no fewer than four films were produced based on the 1896 novel Quo Vadis. This image was most likely created for the 1924 adaptation, a silent historical drama set during the reign of Nero, directed by Gabriellino D'Annunzio.
