Description: rare Lantern clock, England, around 1680/1710,ring of brass numerals, dial center with leaf tendrils and signature: T (homas) Windmills London (see ref .: Baillie S. 345), large engraved alarm disc with ray optics, decoratediron fingers on intra-quarter hour circle pointing, counter top on set alarm time, threesawed crowns (in the center with engraving), above bell, four twisted corner posts, on top lying verge escapement, interior swinging pendulum in anchor shape, works in tunnel construction, brass wheels with solid pinion, pendulum swing visible by so-called leaves, this with brass ornaments decorated (see ref .: Tardy 3e game, S. 225), drive over so- called endless chain and wheels, ext. alarm clock by spindle wheel and spindle, over chaindrive, so-called 'Winged latern clock' clock restored approx. 20 years ago, see ref .: Mühe/ Vogel: Facinating clocks, S. 212, picture 409), H. approx. 40 cm, condition of movement 2 WZ (= good condition with minor flaws) -3 . Baillie S. 345), große gravierte Weckerscheibe mit Strahlenoptik, verzierter Eisenzeiger auf inneren Viertelstundenkreis deutend, Gegenspitze auf eingestellte Weckzeit, drei ausgesägte Bekrönungen (mittig mit Gravur), darüber Glocke, vier gedrehte Ecksäulen, oben liegender Spindelgang, innen schwingender Pendel in Ankerform, Werke in Stollenbauweise, Messingräder mit Volltriebe, Staplatinen Messing, Pendelausschwung des Ankers sichtbar durch sogenannte Flügel, diese mit Messingornamenten verziert (Lit.
