Description: With deep sides and wide flaring rim, the interior inscribed with Tibetan characters in under glaze copper red all within blue enameled rectangular frames, repeated on the exterior, six-character Chien-Wen mark on base, 7.1 inch diameter. Provenance: Property from the collection of Dr. Robert Benson, UK, hence, by descent to family member in Virginia. Acquired in UK during 1960's
