Description: Red woman's robe from the 19th century. It is embroidered with butterflies, birds, and flowers. On the white and blue decorative borders of the robe are landscapes with women and children. About the neck is an embroidered Greek Key design. The white part of the sleeves is embroidered with butterflies and flowers. The interior is lined in green silk. Dimensions are 50 1/2 inches long by 44 1/2 wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with a few stains on the sleeves and body of the robe. Provenance: From a Northern California estate.
