Description: RIBBED SWIRL MINIATURE LAMP, cased mustard yellow with satin finish, diamond-form font with diagonal ribbing, near matching patterned cased glossy umbrella-form shade with vertical ribs and slightly lighter in color, brass collar. Fitted with a period Nutmeg burner, colorless chimney.

Condition Report: Excellent condition, font undamaged, shade top with a minute flake and several to the fitter, most probably as made. Burner undamaged, shade holder with denting, chimney rims with flakes/roughness.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 7 3/4" H to top of shade, 4" H to top of collar, 3 1/4" x 3 5/8" overall base.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
