Description: RIPLEY PATENTED KEROSENE FOOTED FINGER LAMP, colorless, molded double handles, square stippled center support, top embossed "RIPLEY & CO. PATD JAN 7. JULY 14. AUG 11.1868.", underside embossed with a "1", No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a period No. 1 slip burner. Together with a damaged opaque white ribbed bracket lamp font, No. 2 fine-line collar and slip burner, period colorless serrated-scalloped top chimney. Two pieces total. Ripley & Co.

Condition Report: Ripley lamp undamaged, painted white collar and burner.

Provenance: Property of the late Joann Bowen.

Dimensions: 4 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" D foot.
