Description: Lithograph, 1861, a brilliant impression, one of the few known impressions of the very rare first edition, on cream chine appliqué with the Arches mount, printed by Lemercier, Paris, framed
The print is in good condition, with full margins. The lower sheet edge with damp-staining and soiling, some small insect losses and tears in the lower part of the margins at right and left. Insect damage repaired with japan. A few other tears in the margins, no larger than one inch. Another tear in the right margin corner, approximately two inches. Some soiling in the margins.
