Sight - 23-1/2" H x 17-1/2" W. Framed - 26-3/4" H x 20-3/4" W. Biography (courtesy of Askart, The Artists Blue Book) Ruth Wilcox was born in New York City and was married to Ray Wilcox. She was primarily a painter and a commercial artist but was also known as a crafts person. She was a member of the American Artists Professional League and National Association of Women Artists and studied at Art Students League, New York School of Fine & Applied Art, Pennsylvania Academy and Academie Julian in Paris.
