Description: SAM HERMAN (B. 1936)
OVAL SECTION LUSTRE GLASS VASE, DATED 1974
with russet ground and spotted band, etched marks to base SAMUEL J. HERMAN/ 1974/ SA554 (twice)
24.5cm high

Condition Report: - overall good condition and appearance
- typical internal bubbles and inclusions
- there is an internal diagonal line of separation to the colour in the light banding on one side; this starts near the upper edge of the vase and continues through the band towards the midsection of the vase. This does not appear to be an internal crack but a a result of the manufacturing process
- polished pontil
- no apparent chips, cracks or repairs
