Description: Stoutly potted unto a shallow vessel with gently rounded sides terminating the flori-form lobed of eight upward petal-barbed rim, each petal enclosed the bajixiang Buddhist emblems. The central interior carved with large morning glory bloom, before double fine lines conforming the cavetto. All delicately decorated in sgraffiato, carved and molded to reveal the lower layer of glaze darker color before firing. Covered in pale-turquoise-green underglaze ground.
Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
