Description: These are a collection of handmade Shaker pieces: hand woven fancy basket, two chore boys, and handmade horsehair brush from New England circa 1800s. Fancy basket would have been used on the table or to hold small sundry items. The two wooden chore boys were used by the Sisters to turn the great walking spinning wheel. This is a light colored horsehair brush with a finely turned handle.
Condition Report: Excellent condition except the basket has minor imperfections and one of the handles has gone missing with an age appropriate patina.
Dimensions: Basket is 12 inches wide, 4 inches high not including handle, and 38 inches round in circumference. One chore boy is 8 inches long and the other is 6 inches long. Brush is 10 inches long.
