of canted rectangular outline with twin handles, inlaid with a marquetry panel of a stylised peacock

Good looking tray with marquetry in good condition with good green colour to the peacock and feathers
Some shrinkage to the boards under the veneers leading to a fine 1" hairline to the LH side and a slight bowing to the surface of the tray, in turn leading to some seams opening up to the angles of the moulded gallery
Some tarnish to the handles and several minor marks and surface scratches here and there consistent with age and use
