Description: Silas Hoadley "Upside-Down" Pillar and Scroll Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1820, the scroll-top case with three brass urn finials, reverse painted tablet, hand painted dial with gold gilt corners, center design, weight driven, key wind, wooden works, pendulum, nice label "Improved Clocks, Made by Silas Hoadley. Measures approx. 31" tall x 17" wide x 4 1/2" deep.
