Description: 25 November 1924 PARIS. Cert. prov. d'Inscription d'Actions Nom. F250. brown, orange, black. No 675118. Generally rather worn condition but no paper missing. Founded 1864 as an investment bank, similar to the Belgian Société Générale. The first chairman was the prominent industrialist Eugène Schneider. The bank quickly grew to become an important player in the French economy. Today, the Société Générale is France's third largest bank, sixth largest in Europe. It is very rare to find scripophily from this bank and this type has never before been seen by us.
