c. 1870, Stereoview Photograph, ARLINGTON HOUSE "Arlington, Va.," with its original reverse printed descriptive information tag, Extremely Fine.
An original post Civil War era sepia-toned Stereoview Photograph of ARLINGTON HOUSE, Virginia, the home of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. At the end of the war, it was taken over by the Federal government and converted into the famed "Arlington" national military cemetery. The image is on the mount of "Jarvis, Washington, D.C. photographers", circa 1870. Measures 7" x 3.5" on a yellow mount with normal light age and use, in overall very nice condition.
